HOW IT WORKS...

  • Digital Media Education

Youth from underserved neighborhoods in Los Angeles participate in film production courses during the school year through our DIY Media educational program.  Exceptional youth who have successfully completed the education program have the opportunity to participate in the Summer Intensive Training Institute where they receive advanced training in media production techniques.

  • Career Opportunities

Summer Institute graduates then become apprentices with DIY Productions and work with us to produce digital media projects for actual clients.  Youth earn stipends and gain valuable on-the-job training. After successfully completing projects with DIY Productions, youth are placed in internships at local production studios, advertising and marketing firms, and other media organization.

  • Get Involved

If you would like to find out more about how you or someone you know can participate, please do not hesitate to contact us. Also, contact us to find out more about internship, volunteer, sponsorship, donor and partnership opportunities. We look forward to hearing from you!

Please donate to our non-profit organization. Your contribution is tax-deductible.
